We have developed a fixed gas fire extinguishing system using the fire extinguishing agent "3M(TM) Novec(TM) 1230," which was developed by 3M Company in the United States for total flooding applications. "Novec(TM) 1230" vaporizes immediately upon being released from the nozzle, achieving extinguishment through a cooling effect. Since it does not rely on suffocation for extinguishment and the extinguishing agent itself is low in toxicity, it offers high safety.
